Previously in The Giver Jonas is
having a Holiday of everything that means that he have a vocation
of one day, so in this holiday he started to play a war game with his friends
and Asher. Then Fiona go to were Jonas and Asher were to invited them to ride
bicycle but Jonas said no because he cannot tell them the memories that he was
seeing because they will not understand. The days pass and The Giver tells
Jonas that before of Jonas there was another Receiver of Memory that was Rosemary,
The Giver tells Jonas that he lost her a lot but he don’t said Jonas why, The
Giver said that he can transferred the memories to Rosemary. Rosemary was a
child that has Release. Jonas saw a memory of his father and that memories was
not too nice because Jonas saw his father killing a baby because the father of
Jonas was punching in the vain the injection so the kid day and Jonas was
screaming "he killed him, he killed him" Jonas was in shock. The
Giver wants to talk with Jonas because he wants to explain Jonas he need to
live the community because The Giver need to find something very important,
also the Giver said that Jonas is prepare to be the next Receiver of Memory.
The Giver tells Jonas that he want to find Rosemary because he is the daughter
of The Giver. 
"But I
have another place to go. When my work here is finished, I want to be with my
daughter" (162.)
I want to analyze
this quote because if I was in The Giver place I will like to find my daughter
because his daughter is his family. The Giver is making very good be finding
his daughter even if he is going to miss Jonas but if he want to remember his
daughter he have the chance to find his daughter. The Giver have not seen he is
daughter in a lot of years so I thinks that The Giver is going to find her because
he is going to search in every place also he is going to ask people if the hadn’t
see Rosemary. Next the Giver is not going to stop searching for Rosemary. In
the other hand I think that also Jonas is going to help The Giver searching for
Rosemary even if they are far.
I will like to predict about what is going too happened
next. I think that The Giver is going to find Rosemary. Next Jonas is going to
have memories that are going to tell him about what he needs to do in his rest
of his life. In the other hand Jonas is going to have bad, good memories that
he will go to transmit to Gabe. I think that one of the memories he is going to
see is when he plays with his friends but he will not be happy about that
memory because he will not be a normal kid again. In conclusion I will like to read the three chapters
that I have left because this book is very interesting.
